India Wildlife Safari

11 night wildlife safari in central India

This Tour

The forests and grasslands of central India were the setting for Rudyard Kipling’s 'Jungle Book'. They also form the natural habitat of the Royal Bengal tiger and there are few places where these rare and majestic predators can be seen as easily or in such numbers.

Essential Experiences:

• Search for tigers in India’s national parks

• Watch out for the abundant birdlife and other fauna

• Visit the Temples of Khajuraho, famed for their ‘exotic’ sculptures

The Tour: Our India Wildlife Safari takes you to explore the national parks of Pench, Kanha & Bandhavgarh, all part of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts and are considered amongst the best places to view the tiger in its natural environment. The reserves are also home to an abundance of other wildlife, which includes leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, sambars, langur monkeys and a wide variety of birdlife.

Accommodation: We have chosen a selection of comfortable jungle camps located as close as possible to the tiger reserves of central India. All the camps have hot and cold running water and knowledgeable in-house local naturalists. City hotels are all of a good international standard and conveniently located.
