Havana

This destination

Havana, is a captivating city: much of it is crumbling due to ill repair but the centre of Old Havana has been lovingly restored to its colonial pomp. There are so many sights, sounds and experiences: from the big 1950's American cars still driving the streets to the colourful cabarets for which the city is famous.

The city can easily be explored on foot and offers a wonderful range of bars, galleries and museums. Other attractions include live music, cabarets, Ernest Hemingway's former house and the impressive El Morro fortress guarding the harbour.

We recommend combining a stay in Havana with time on a Cuban Beach.
