JORDAN: 5 hours (direct) to Amman; EGYPT: 5 hours (direct) to Cairo; 7:30 hours (indirect) to Luxor; UAE: 7 hours (direct) to Abu Dhabi; 7 hours (direct) to Dubai; OMAN: 10 hours (indirect) to Muscat. NB: All timings are approximate from London and for indirect flights in include stopover time.

Generally, the summers from June-September are hot and dry. The winters are cooler and more variable with rainfall.  Either side of summer, there is the possibility of winds and sand storms.

 

BEST TRAVELLING PERIOD

Generally, October to May are considered more comfortable for travelling, to avoid the hot summers.
