Big Five Safari

Discover Kenya - 7 night safari including beach stay

from £1295

Our Highlights:
    • A chance to see the 'big five'
    • Visit the Mzima Springs in the Tsavo West National Park
    • 2 nights relaxation on the beaches of Mombasa

Deep in the African bush amid the acacia-studded savannahs, rolling plains and in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, roam the 'Big Five' - buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhinoceros. A phrase originally coined by the big game hunters of a bygone era, the 'Big Five', is now a term used only by those who seek these mighty beasts through the lens of a camera. In the vast silence of the bush look out for herds of elephants basking in the dust, buffalo drinking from a waterhole or even the elusive leopard in a tree, just some of the magical essence of the African bush.

Our safari (a Swahili word meaning journey) incorporates some of Kenya's best game reserves including Amboseli, with its stunning backdrop of snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, a paradise for birdwatching, and spend time in the ancient rainforest of Shimba Hills. You can hope to see a spectacular abundance of wildlife for example: lion, cheetah, black rhino, elephant, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, hippopotamus and colourful birdlife. Finally unwind on the beautiful white sand beaches of Kenya's Indian Ocean coast.
