Kenya Wildlife Safari Elephant bathing on a Kenyan Safari Wildebeest migration on a Kenyan Safari

Kenya Wildlife Safari

8 night African safari including the Masai Mara

from £1,095

Our Highlights:
    • Lumbering elephants, playful lion cubs and the elusive leopard
    • Tea on the terrace at the world famous "Treetops"
    • The annual migration, one of nature's greatest spectacles
    • The chance to take a hot air balloon over the plains of the Masai Mara

An air of suspense hangs over us as we stare out across the silent plains. And then the blades of grass move almost imperceptibly. We hold our breath. A tawny head shows, followed by another and another, as a pride of lions appear in the golden sunlight. This is the very special magic that is the essence of a Kenya safari holiday.

Our safari takes you to the dry hills and desert of Samburu; to Naivasha, the highest of the Rift Valley lakes; to the world-famous Treetops ‘treehouse lodge’ in the Aberdares, with night-time viewing of animals as they come to the waterhole and salt-lick and finally to the vast plains of the Masai Mara. Adjoining the Serengeti, the Mara is home to a spectacular abundance of wildlife including the big five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhinoceros. It is also the scene of the annual migration, when accompanied by zebras and antelopes more than a million wildebeest, make the trek north from the plains of the Serengeti.

To conclude the experience we offer the chance to stay on the beautiful white sand beaches of the Indian Ocean, where you can relax, unwind and reflect on the memories.
