Tanzania is a land of staggering scenic beauty and home to some of the world's last areas of true wilderness. With one of the largest and wildest concentrations of wildlife in the world this is the ultimate country to embark on a Safari. Our very special journey takes you to the endless plains of the Serengeti with its wide-open spaces, animal filled landscapes and clear blue skies exemplifying many people's vision of a perfect safari setting. The park is 5,000 square miles of plains, plateau and woodlands. Amongst the wildlife found here are lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo as well as an array of other mammals and birds.
Next head to the magnificent Ngorongoro crater, known as the eighth wonder of the natural world with its steep sided bowl formed millions of years ago when an ancient volcano collapsed. The crater is one of the finest and most picturesque settings for game viewing and you are able to view animals much closer than in many other reserves.
Travel south to Lake Manyara National Park situated in a spectacular setting on a narrow strip of lakeshore along the western wall of the Great Rift Valley. The park is famous for its herds of elephants and buffalo as well as its tree-climbing lions.
