Day 1 : London to Santiago

Fly to Santiago.

Day 2 : Santiago

On arrival you will be met by a Travel Collection Representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon there will be a guided walking tour of the city, including many of the city's best sites.

Day 3 : Santiago

Free day to explore this beautiful city.

Day 4 : Santiago

At leisure, optional excursions are available to book locally.

Day 5 : Santiago to Puerto Varas

After breakfast transfer to Santiago airport for the flight to Puerto Montt. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Puerto Varas. Puerto Varas is a small city located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Puerto Montt. You will also have the opportunity to ascend one of the city's hills (Melipulli) to enjoy a panoramic view of the town and start of the Andes Mountain range. Head to the beach resorts of Pelluco and Chinquihue, pass by the fish factory, naval and marine shipyards, followed by a visit to the fish and handicraft market of Angelmo. Return to Puerto Varas for the night.

Day 6 : Puerto Varas

After breakfast depart for the small city of Frutillar via Llanquihue where the Maullin River begins. Taking the road along the edge of Lake Llanquihue you will visit the monument dedicated to German Colonists as well as other architectural and natural wonders of the area. In Frutillar visit the Colonial Museum. Enjoy the spectacular views from the lake. The afternoon is free.

Day 7 : Puerto Varas to Bariloche

Conclusion of breakfast signifies the commencement of one of the tour's highlights - that of the lakes crossing to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina. After a drive along the edge of Lake Llanquihue you will enter the Vicente Perez National Park, where you will see the Osorno Volcano and the waterfalls of Petrohue River and Lake Todos los Santos. Sail on a catamaran across these emerald coloured waters bordered by forests, mountains, volcanoes and waterfalls to the mountain village of Peulla.
After exploring Peulla proceed to the border and cross into Argentina. By bus, continue to Frias Lake from where sailing starts to Puerto Blest. Finally after a short bus ride cross Lake Nahuel and onto San Carlos de Bariloche.

Day 8 : Bariloche

After breakfast enjoy a tour of the city and its surroundings including Playa Bonita and the foot of Campanario Hill, where you can take a chair lift ride to the top of the hill. Soon after take in some breathtaking views of the Andes and lakes from Llao-Llao peninsula. The afternoon is at leisure, allowing you to explore further at your own pace.

Day 9 : Bariloche to Buenos Aires

Transfer to Bariloche airport for an afternoon flight to Buenos Aires the 'Paris of South Americas'.

Day 10 : Buenos Aires

In the morning enjoy a city tour of this beautiful city. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city further.

Day 11 : Buenos Aires

At leisure.

Day 12 : Buenos Aires

Depart for the airport for the return flight home or extension to another part of Argentina or South America.
