Villa Soroa
The Soroa is situated in lush, forested hills about 2 hours outside of Havana in the natural surroundings of a biosphere reserve.
This hotel consists of 49 simple cabanas set under shady trees in beautiful landscaped grounds and is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the area, including the famous waterfall and orchidarium. All the rooms have a private bathroom, telephone and radio as well as TV. Relax by the large pool after a day of exploring the natural surroundings.
The emphasis here is naturally on relaxation and exploring this spectacular area at your own pace. There are superb walks and the area is a delight for birdwatchers.
Cayo Levisa
The island of Cayo Levisa is the type of retreat that you quite simply may never want to leave! At just under 2 miles long and a couple of hundred yards wide, the island is only accessible by boat. Your stay here is in simple rooms built with local materials and have air-conditioning and private bathrooms. Your time is likely to be spent simply relaxing the day away with a book on your front porch as you listen to the waves. Dining here is a joy as a small restaurant serves excellent fresh seafood as well as local criolla cuisine. The local masseur can even give you a relaxing massage under the shade of a palm tree. Sheer bliss!

Chateau Miramar, Havana:
Medium class hotel located in the Miramar district, overlooking the straits of Florida. The hotel is 20 minutes from the centre of Havana with a free shuttle to the old town twice daily. The hotel has a good range of facilities and is an excellent base to explore Havana and the surrounding areas.
