Alternative Itinerary Xi'an and the Terracotta Warriors from £145:
On day 5 instead of flying to Dali fly to Xi'an for a 2 night stay at the King Dynasty Hotel. We include a full day tour of Xi'an visiting the Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Wall and the Terracotta Museum to see the 6,000 strong army of terracotta warriors guarding the tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi. The following day enjoy a half day excursion to the Grand Mosque and the Shan'xi Provincial Museum. Dinner is included on your first night in Xi'an and lunch is included on your second day. After Xi'an fly to Lijiang and continue the rest of the tour.
Optional Extension: Thai Beach from £245
After your tour fly to Bangkok and transfer to the peaceful beach resort of Cha-Am, located on the Gulf of Siam next to the Royal resort of Hua Hin. Stay 4 nights on a room only basis at the Regent Cha Am in a chalet room.
