Our Highlights:
- The magical temples of Angkor
- Vibrant Bangkok
- The bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City
Make a foray into the Far East and enjoy a trio of tantalising locales. Starting in Bangkok, enjoy the colour of Thailand’s capital – a city that straddles the Chao Phraya River and is criss-crossed by klongs (canals) on the Thonburi side. Eat Thai, traipse through temples, meander through flower and fruit markets, sort out a bespoke suit, be captivated by Chinatown and relax in the city of smiles. Jetting east to Siem Reap – a charming gateway town to the UNESCO-Listed Temple of Angkor Wat, explore the Old French Quarter replete with its colonial and Chinese-style architecture, the Old Market and craft shops plus of course Angkor and the beautiful Tonle Sap Lake. Beyond Cambodia, visit Ho Chi Minh City. The city formally known as Saigon is the heart and soul of Vietnam. Bustling and dynamic, the streets are a technicolour jumble of markets, sidewalk cafes and street vendors. It’s impossible not to be affected by the exhilarating vibe of this city conquered by the French in 1859 and sometimes known as ‘the pearl of the Far East’.
