Day 1 to Day 2:

London/Chengdu

Overnight flight from London to Chendu. On arrival transfer to your hotel.
3 nights: Minshan Hotel - 4* city hotel

Day 3:

Chengdu

Today visit the Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base. Founded in 1987 the Panda Base is a non-profit Panda conservation and breeding facility. Set in 96 acres, this beautifully landscaped park has been designed to imitate the pandas' natural surroundings and has a very successful panda breeding record. The base is also home to other endangered wildlife including the elusive red panda. A short tour of the city is also included visiting Sichuan University Museum and Jinli cultural street before a typical Sichuan style dinner.

Day 4:

Huanglongxi

Enjoy a taste of traditional China, visiting the historic village of Huanglongxi. In a charming riverside setting, the village's cobbled streets are lined with traditional wooden shophouses and temples.

Day 5 to Day 6:

Guilin

Fly from Chengdu to Guilin. The area around Guilin is one of the most picturesque in China, limestone karsts tower above villagers and buffaloes in the fields. Tour the city and visit the beautiful Reed Flute caves and Fubo Hill.
2 nights: Park Hotel - 4* City Hotel.

Day 7:

Li River cruise: Guilin to Yangshuo

Riverboat cruise through spectacular scenery passing small villages and fishermen to the charming town of Yangshuo set amid beautiful countryside. There is time to relax and explore this attractive town and the surrounding countryside, we recommend visiting the cafes along Xi Jie, known locally as foreigner street or take an optional tour to see the famous cormorant fishermnen, who have trained their birds to catch fish for them.
1 night: New Century Hotel - 3* Chinese hotel

Day 8:

Yangshuo/Hong Kong

Following a morning tour of the surrounding coutryside, return to Guilin for your onward flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
3 nights: Cosmopolitan Hotel - 4* international hotel

Day 9 to Day 10:

Hong Kong

Free time to explore, use the easy and efficient public transport system: visit Victoria Peak, take a tram to Central or the Star Ferry across the harbour to Kowloon to view the impressive skyline.

Day 11:

Hong Kong/London

Transfer to the airport for return flight to London.
