The temples of Angkor once formed the capital of the Khmer kingdom that stretched across much of South-East Asia. Hidden by jungle for many years, the temples have justly now become one of the region’s most popular tourist sites.
Based in the town of Siem Reap we include a full day exploring these timeless ruins, visiting all of the most important sights. We also include a half day tour to Tonle Sap Lake, where you will have the opportunity to see a little of rural Cambodian life.
We combine the fascinating country of Cambodia with Thailand where you spend two nights in vibrant Bangkok and 5 nights at the peaceful beach resort of Cha-Am on the Gulf of Thailand.

Generally the best time to go is considered to be from November through to March when you can generally expect warm weather and clear skys. However, the period during and after the rainy season (May-August) can be a fantastic time to visit as all of the moats at Angkor are full with water.
