Medium class hotel in a good central location. The hotel has 1 outdoor swimming pool and a gym.
There is 1 restaurant, which serves Chinese/Indian and continental food throughout the day and a café open for lunch only.
Heritage Village – Pragpur
A 300 year old ancestral home set in stunning gardens and overlooking the Dhauladhar Mountains. Nearly all the food provided in the hotel is organic and grown in the grounds of the property - they even have their own cows for dairy produce. The gardens offer different fruit trees - mango, lychees, grape, plum, parsimon, citrus and other exotic trees, which you are welcome to pick.
There is 1 small plunge pool, which could fit about 10 people. Due to the nature of the property all rooms are different but all offer tea/coffee making facilities, private bathroom and double beds. The roof of the hotel offers fantastic views over the snow caped peaks.
During your free time you are welcome to sit in the peaceful garden, an ideal place for relaxing and reading. Alternatively there are lots of places to go walking, fishing, or bird watching; maps are available from the hotel and the staff will be more than happy to help with suggestions of where to go.
Radisson Hotel – Shimla:
Located about 10 minutes from Shimla Mall, this is a modern hotel offering a restaurant serving Indian and continental food, and an outdoor swimming pool (closed during the winter). A number of the rooms have stunning views over Shimla and the surrounding hills.
All the rooms have TV, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, mini-bar and balcony. The rooms have heating and air-conditioning.
Ashok Country Club - Delhi:
Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport (although Delhi’s traffic can mean this takes longer) this medium class hotel offers buffet restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, health club, and currency exchange. Rooms have air-conditioning, hairdryer, TV, double or twin beds, tea/coffee making, and mini-bar. The shops, restaurants and bars of the city centre are about half an hour away by taxi.
