Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, the heritage village of Pragpur is an oasis of tranquility. Few places offer such a peaceful break whilst still providing all the colour and vibrance of Indian culture. Whether taking gentle walks through the stunning scenery, or relaxing in the gardens, this really is a mountain shangri-la.
Our tour starts in Amritsar, home to the Sikh religion and the legendary Golden Temple. From here we move to Pragpur. We stay in a unique country hotel set against a backdrop of the mightiest of mountains - the Himalayas. Among the excursions included is a day trip to Dharamshala - home to the Tibetan government-in-exile and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
