Day 1: London to Delhi

Overnight flight from London to Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

On arrival into Delhi transfer to The Palms Town & Country Club for a 2 night stay. Rest of your day at leisure.

Day 3: Delhi

Our tour starts in the bustling capital city of Delhi, providing a fascinating introduction to the sights and sounds of India. During our time in Delhi we explore atmospheric Old Delhi with its busy winding streets and colourful bazaars. Drive past the imposing Red Fort, visit the largest Mosque in India Jamma Masjid, Qutub Minar, Chattarpur Temple complex, and also visit the 2nd world war memorial of India Gate.

Day 4: Delhi to Agra

After breakfast drive to the city of Agra, city of the Taj Mahal (approx 5 hours transfer). Check in for a 1 night stay at the Clarks Shiraz Hotel. During the afternoon visit the red sandstone Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. In the evening enjoy a music show with dinner.

Day 5: Agra to Bharatpur

Today we have an early morning visit to the beautiful Taj Mahal. This is a truly wonderful time to visit this monument as it glows pearlescent pink at dawn; it never fails to take your breath away. After breakfast travel to Bharatpur (approx 1 hour) and en route visit the stunning deserted city of Fatephur Sikri, once the capital of the Mughal Empire. We stay for 1 night in the historic town of Bharatpur for at the Laxmi Villas Palace, a beautiful heritage palace built for the family of Maharajah Ram Singh.

Day 6: Bharatpur to Ranthambore

Take an optional early morning visit to Bharatpur bird sanctuary including a rickshaw ride. Return to Laxmi Villas for breakfast and drive onwards to Ranthambore (approx 6 hours transfer). Check-in at the Tiger Villas hotel for a 3 night stay.

Day 7: Ranthambore

Early morning game drive into the Ranthambore National Park. The park boasts India’s leading conservation project for tigers. You maybe able to spot one of these elusive creatures during your safari, as well as other wildlife including crocodile, sloth bear, sambar deer and jackal. After the game drive relax by the pool at Tiger Villas or explore the small town. Late in the afternoon head back into Ranthambore national park for your second game drive.

Day 8: Ranthambore

Day at leisure or book optional game drives back into the park.

Day 9: Ranthambore to Jaipur

After breakfast drive to the ‘pink city’ of Jaipur (approx 4 hours transfer). In the afternoon enjoy an excursion to the Royal Observatory, the famous Hawa Mahal and the city palace.

Day 10: Jaipur

This morning visit the imposing Amber Fort, perched high above the surrounding area. In the afternoon catch the latest Bollywood movie at India’s largest cinemas Raj Mandir. During the evening visit the Monkey Temple also known as the ‘temple of the sun god’.

Day 11: Jaipur to Delhi

Morning at leisure before our return transfer back to Delhi (approx 6 hours). Stay for 1 night at The Palms Town & Country Club.

Day 12: Delhi/London

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight or extension flight to Goa.
