Climate
Sri Lanka has a complex climate with the monsoon occurring at different times of the year, depending on where you stay on the island. Kandy has a very pleasant climate cooler and less humid than coastal areas. Due to high altitude (6000ft) Nuwara Eliya has a cool climate similar to a typical English autumn day. Mornings are clear and bright, with afternoons often experiencing light rain
