Nestled in a vast coconut grove along a great stretch of beach, Mermaid Beach Resort is superbly equipped, elegantly designed and offers an enviable array of facilities and creature comforts in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. There are two swimming pools of which the main pool, complete with sun terrace, is located near the restaurant and is reserved for swimming and sunbathing. The second pool located at the Mermaid Club where one will find a dizzying array of sport, recreational activities and the Sahana Spa (treatments at extra cost) is ideal for water polo and aerobics. The main restaurant located on the upper level (where all meals are taken) overlooks the pool and the ocean with its unique split level design, whilst the alfresco area adjoining the restaurant is ideal for an intimate candle-lit dinner. Dotted around the hotel are four bars to slake one's thirst, and when the sun sets, there is an array of entertainment on offer such as cultural shows and live music.
The resort offers 72 air-conditioned guest rooms. Rooms are tastefully decorated with simple colour accents and stylish teak furniture and offer an en suite bathroom with shower/WC, flat screen TV, CD player, mini bar, safe, hairdryer and a balcony or terrace with partial sea view.
All inclusive: Meals: Buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner (all taken in the main restaurant), snacks, and fresh fruit. Drinks: Local alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages on self serve at appropriate times of the day (exclusions: Champagne, imported liquor/wines etc).
